A WOMAN charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death following a crash that killed two men near Wangaratta on Saturday has been released on bail.
It came as the 77-year-old central Victorian man killed in the crash was identified as Peter Turner.
Mr Turner, of Guildford, and 64-year-old Wodonga man Jamie Drummond died after the blue FJ Holden they were in was struck from behind by a Nissan Navara.
The Holden had been waiting to turn into the Wangaratta Airport.
Mr Turner and Mr Drummond had been testing the vehicle.
Mr Drummond's son, Trevor, witnessed the crash.
Markwood woman Jodie Contacolli, 45, appeared before the Wangaratta Magistrates Court this afternoon.
She was taken into custody following the crash on Saturday.
The case will return to the court on September 3 for a committal mention.
Police continue to investigate the matter.
Joseph Azzopardi said Mr Turner and Mr Drummond would be missed.
"Jamie was a (quiet) spoken gentleman (who) could think out of the box and then reinvent the wheel," he wrote on Facebook.
"Two amazing men (who) I have had the privilege and (honour) to have known.
"Rest in peace my friends and not forgotten."
Mr Drummond was a father of three and had eight grandchildren.
Staff at the business he started in 1985 also paid their respects.

A WOMAN has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death following Saturday's collision near Wangaratta.
The 45-year-old Markwood woman was due to face the Wangaratta Magistrates' Court when Victoria Police issued its statement.
Investigators were told two vehicles collided near the intersection of Greta Road and Brian Higgins Drive about 10am on Saturday.
A 77-year-old Guildford man was among the two people that died in the collision.

A GUILDFORD man has died in a crash that killed two people near Wangaratta on Saturday.
The crash at Laceby killed the 77-year-old Guildford man, and 64-year-old Wodonga man Jamie Drummond.
Hehad stopped to turn right into Wangaratta airport when a Nissan Navara hit them from behind.
Mr Drummond's son Trevor watched as the tragedy, which claimed both men's lives, unfolded at 9.50am.
"I saw the whole thing happen, I was only 20 metres away," he said.
"I was first on the scene and being a firefighter it's all kicked in and I tried to revive him and see if I could do CPR but there was no pulse or anything."
Jamie Drummond had driven to the airport from Wodonga that morning in the FJ Holden with Trevor travelling separately.

He met the mechanic in order to do testing on the car to ensure it complied with Australian standards as part of the licensing process.
"He just went for a drive on the highway (Greta Road) to cool his car, it was the wrong place, wrong time unfortunately," Trevor said.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
The woman driver and child of the Victorian-registered Nissan Navara were taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Police officers from the major collision unit were called to the Laceby crash scene to examine the site and vehicles, with both the Nissan and Holden removed by tow truck after sunset.
The identity of the Guildford man has not been released.
