Castlemaine's Victory Park will receive $50,000 to upgrade its path network and the kitchen facilities in the Ray Bradfield Room.
The project is part of a number of new shovel-ready initiatives identified by the state government to support economic and social renewal across rural and regional Victoria.
Member for Bendio West Maree Edwards announced the funds on Friday as part of Victoria's $2.6 billion Delivering for Regional and Rural Victoria Program and is in addition to the Victorian Government's recently announced $2.7 billion Building Works package.
"The Victorian Government is committed to accelerating progress on projects that have the potential to generate immediate economic benefit for our regions and help them recover from the impacts of coronavirus," she said.
"Ensuring our region has the support needed to move through the current challenges unique to this community is paramount in the current environment."
