Results for the Addy Iso-Season have been generated using the average scores of match-ups between opponents over the past decade. We hope everyone takes it for what it is - a bit of fun while there is no local football being played.
BENDIGO LEAGUE
FIERCE rivals Strathfieldsaye and Eaglehawk delivered a classic on Saturday to round out the first half of the Addy Iso-Season for the Bendigo league.
The two big guns fought out the first game to be decided by one point as the Storm scraped over the line 13.12 (90) to 13.11 (89) at Canterbury Park.
The game looked headed for the season's first draw with scores level 89 apiece, but a last-ditch attacking foray by the Storm saw co-coach Shannon Geary swoop onto a ground ball and snap a behind moments before the siren sounded.
At Dower Park, a surging South Bendigo made it three wins from its past four starts, beating Kangaroo Flat - which was coming off back-to-back victories - by 21 points.
Sandhurst kept Kyneton winless with a 77-point triumph, while after being involved in a pair of two-point thrillers the previous two weeks, this time Gisborne put Castlemaine to the sword early on the way to a 79-point victory.
And Golden Square completed an undefeated first half of the season, comfortably beating the visiting Maryborough by 56 points.

The Saints rallied from a 13-point deficit at half-time to run over the top of the Grasshoppers and win 13.11 (89) to 11.9 (75), but are bound to be tested in the second half of the season with some long-term injury concerns.
Leitchville-Gunbower moved within a game of the top five after beating Huntly by 10 points in what was another near-miss for the luckless Hawks, who have pulled off some mid-season recruiting that should boost their fortunes going forward.
