Formerly hosted at Sidney Myer Place, the Saturday market will be held at Golden Square's Bendigo Pony Club.
Market manager Chris Hain said he was on the hunt for a new location since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
"We needed to operate in a space that would guarantee the appropriate distancing for stall holders and enough room for the public to distance themselves," Mr Hain said.
Competition for car parking in central Bendigo was feedback Mr Hain regularly received when the market was held at Sidney Myer Place.
"For some people, the old location was a turn off," he said.
"It was too hard for some to find a park and then carry a big basket or bags of shopping to their car."
"The new site ticks a lot of boxes for us in terms of a dedicated site where we can configure off-street and on-street parking."
There will be about 60 stall holders at this Saturday's market, with capacity for more than 100 stalls once social distancing measures are relaxed.
Weekly markets will continue at Hargreaves Street's Good Loaf Bakery for the foreseeable future.
"It is a great environment and there is mutual benefits to the Thursday market," Mr Hain said.
The market takes place on the second Saturday of every month from 9am until 1pm at the Bendigo Pony Club, Breen St & Belle Vue Road, Golden Square.
