MARKETS
SUNDAY MARKET
Held nearly every Sunday, the Bendigo Prince of Wales Showgrounds Market is one of country Victoria's largest weekly markets.
Back for its first return after a closure due to COVID-19, this market has a fun, family atmosphere, free admission and ample free parking.
There are various stalls which include hot and cold foods, plants, tools, soaps, clothing, gifts, homewares, toys, electronics, furniture, cosmetics and much more.

FARMERS MARKET
Enjoy all the best of the region's farmers and producers in one place.
Spend your Sunday filling your reuseable bags with the freshest produce, jams, wines and more.
Catch up with the locals and have fun in Castlemaine.
To ensure the safety of all attendees, the market will be applying stringent health and safety practices and protocols.
Where: Western Oval (opposite Forest Street), Castlemaine.

ONLINE EVENTS
CURIOUS KIDS: WATER CYCLE
Like many businesses, the Discovery Centre Bendigo has had to temporarily close its doors but children can still participate in programs online.
This Curious Kids: Water Cycle session (suitable for 3 - 5 year olds) will take place via Zoom.
Register here and you will be emailed a Zoom link.
There will also be information for equipment needed to join in the fun.
A list of experiments will also be available to be downloaded after each session.

YOGA SESSIONS
If you're aged 12 - 25 years, there is an opportunity for you to sign up to a free online yoga workshop.
This event, hosted by Mount Alexander Shire's Mondo Lounge will help stretch out your body and mind, creating a sense of calm and focus.
These workshops are held over multiple sessions, but you do not need to attend each session. Build a healthier heart and create your own happiness.

INTRODUCTION TO BE CONNECTED
Join in a tour with the Introduction to Be Connected and discover life online with the Goldfields Libraries.
This workshop will include activities and how to videos aimed at increasing online skills for people aged over 50.
A meeting address will be emailed to you prior to the event. You will need access to a computer with speakers to listen.

STICKS AND STONES
Enjoy a live conversation with journalist, Katherine Firkin as she discusses her debut novel, Sticks and Stones.
The novel is set within inner-city Melbourne and is inspired by the criminal trials Katherine has covered as a crime and court reporter.
The book addresses issues such as violence against women, drugs, homelessness and mental health.
Aspiring journalists and fans of crime novelists won't want to miss this one.

EXHIBITIONS
'STUDIO' AND 'RECONNECTIONS'
Falkner Gallery has reopened with two new exhibitions, 'Studio' - oil paintings by Juliana Hilton and 'Reconnections' - oil paintings by Trudi Harley.
The gallery also displays new works by many other artists. Note:
