DETECTIVES have arrived at the home destroyed by fire.
Police and a CFA investigator will comb the wreckage for clues to how the blaze began.
"They are not sure at this point where the fire started,"Acting Sergeant Anthony Johnson said.
"The whole house has gone. There was a car in the garage and I'm not sure about how much damage it's had.
"The CFA has cleared the building and rendered it safe. They believe there's no more hotspots."
The home's occupants were very shaken up, Acting Sergeant Johnson said.
The road is expected to reopen shortly. It was blocked by CFA crews as they worked to contain the flames.

FIREFIGHTERS appear to have extinguished the fire.
The house has been gutted by the flames.
Its roof has collapsed.
6.50am
ONE person has been taken to hospital by paramedics.
The woman in her 30s is being treated for smoke inhalation.
Another male was also in the home when the fire started. He remains at the scene with a dog.
They were the only people at home when the fire begun and were evacuated.
The fire continues to burn.
6.40am
FIREFIGHTERS continue to battle a fire that has engulfed a house in Ascot.
CFA members have blocked off the residential street.
Flames are coming out of the roof.
Police officers are also on scene.

A HOUSE is burning in Ascot.
Several fire crews are on scene with more coming.
The fire is taking place in Millewa Drive.
