#BendigoTogether is a hashtag the two organisations are asking the community to use on social media, to support Bendigo's Asian Australians.
BCHS cultural diversity and relationships manager Kaye Graves said the organisation received reports of Karen community members being verbally abused, coughed on and called names, linked to the coronavirus pandemic.
"It's ludicrous, unfair and dangerous," Mrs Graves said.
BCHS enlisted the help of Bendigo Police Inspector Shane Brundell to create a video encouraging Karen community members to report such incidents.
"Victoria Police takes all incidents of racism, discrimination or vilification based on religion, culture or ethnicity seriously," Inspector Brundell said.
"Everyone has the right to feel and be safe in the community.
"If anyone is a victim of crime involving racism, discrimination or vilification, we encourage you to report this to your local police."
Believe in Bendigo rose to prominence during the protests surrounding the approval of the Bendigo Islamic Community Centre.
Spokesperson Margot Spalding said people of all minority groups, cultures or religions are welcome in Bendigo.
"The Karen community is one of Bendigo's biggest success stories and they offer our community so much," Mrs Spalding said.
"Over the next weeks and months, we will be running a very public campaign to show the Karen community and every culture in Bendigo, they are welcome and valued."
The social media campaign is the first part of the planned awareness drive.
"We will be giving people plenty of opportunity to show their support publicly and show the world what Bendigo is really about," Mrs Spalding said.
Ten new coronavirus cases were reported by Victoria's chief health officer on Tuesday, taking the state's total cases to 1663.
There have been eight recorded cases in Greater Bendigo Shire and currently no active cases.
Nine coronavirus cases have been recorded in Macedon Ranges and six in Mount Alexander, with no active cases at present.
Of Campaspe's four cases, one case remains active.
