The dream became reality for Quarry Hill Golf Club life member Barbara Bannerman.
During the Saturday competition Bannerman aced the 99m par-3 second hole.
Quarry Hill GC captain Stewart Davey said the entire club was thrilled to see one of its members land a hole-in-one.
"On the second it's a steep run up to the putting area and it's dead-flat with an elongated shaped scrape," he said.
"It's one of those holes which can often undo a lot of golfers because of the steep bank at the beginning of the putting area."
Since golf's return in mid-May Quarry Hill GC has seen a two-fold increase in participation during the club's competitions.
"We've pretty much doubled the numbers of participants in our Wednesday and Saturday competitions," Davey said.
Davey said the club's members were over the moon to be able to do what they love most, play a round of golf.
"We were all deflated not being able to play, especially as it was the best time of the year to play, towards the end of daylight savings," he said.
Quarry Hill GC was founded in 1921 by Sir John and Lady Catherine Quick.
