Axedale Primary School, Eaglehawk Secondary College, Winters Flat Primary School, Kyneton Secondary College, and Wycheproof P-12 College will receive some of the $5.94 million in funding.
Victorian Minister for Education James Merlino said the money could go towards works like painting, resurfacing floors, replacing windows, fixing roofs, as well as resurfacing outdoors paths and stairs.
Axedale Primary School has received $10,000 for high priority maintenance works, while Kyneton Secondary College has also gained $55,000 for similar works.
Eaglehawk Secondary College will receive a total of $170,000 - $165,000 for high priority maintenance works on the school's Shelter in Place building, and $5,000 for other maintenance works like wall repairs.
Winters Flat Primary School will receive a total of $445,000 - $425,000 for works on the school's Shelter in Place building, and another $20,000 for other maintenance works like floor and lighting repairs.
Wycheproof P-12 College will receive $80,000 for high priority maintenance works, including ceiling repairs and painting.
