Sergeant Mick Peckham said several housing estate properties were burgled on the nights of May 15 and 16.
A number of newly installed items were taken, including door handles and kitchen appliances like hot plates.
Sergeant Peckham said police were still investigating whether it was one or multiple offenders.
He urged anyone with information to contact the Bendigo Police Station on 5448 1300 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Sergeant Peckham also urged residents living in or near new housing estates to report any suspicious people or vehicles to police.
