New data released by the Department of Health and Human Services on Monday shows there is a new case confirmed in Macedon Ranges Shire.
There are now two active cases in the municipality, which has seen nine coronavirus cases overall.
Meanwhile, Loddon Shire has recorded a fourth case of the illness, bringing its number of active cases to one.
Earlier figures suggested there was a fourth case confirmed on Friday, but this was revised back down to three at the weekend.
Data is continually analysed and can change for a variety of reasons, including the incorrect recording of postcodes and duplications.

There are also now three cases recorded for Campaspe Shire.
There are no active cases in central Victoria outside the Macedon Ranges and Loddon shires.
Across Victoria, there have been 1567 cases of the virus.
Eighteen people have died, while 1439 people have recovered.
"Victorians have done a remarkable job so far sticking to the coronavirus restrictions and staying at home has saved lives. But now is not the time for complacency," the state's chief health officer, Professor Brett Sutton, said.
"We are also asking Victorians to continue this amazing effort and get tested if they have symptoms, because the more tests we do, the more data we have about the prevalence of coronavirus in the community.
"People with common symptoms of coronavirus including fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell are encouraged to get tested."
In Bendigo, people can undergo testing at the Bendigo Health screening clinic in Stewart Street, or the Bendigo Respiratory Clinic in Spring Gully.
This story has been updated to reflect a third case recorded for Campaspe Shire on Monday.
