A DRAW, a massive come-from-behind win and a three-point thriller are the three Loddon Valley league games that have been selected as part of today's round five 2010s rewind.
Had the LVFNL season gone ahead as originally scheduled the league on Saturday would have been up to round five, which produced some cracking contests over the past decade.
2013 - BL-Serpentine 14.12 (96) def Bridgewater 14.9 (93).
In what would prove to be a 2013 grand final preview, the round five encounter between Bears Lagoon-Serpentine and Bridgewater certainly whet the appetite.
Both went into the clash at Bridgewater unbeaten and it was the Bears who emerged with their unblemished record intact, holding on in a three-point thriller and inflicting at the time what was just the fifth loss in 59 games for the Mean Machine.
The Mean Machine had led by 12 points at three quarter-time, before the Bears kicked 3.4 to 1.1 with the aid of the breeze in the final term.
"It was just a battle of the backlines and it looked like players from both sides were out on their feet at the end," Bears coach Damien Featherby said.
"Both sides attacked the ball really hard, but when the siren went the pendulum was swinging our way. Two minutes later it could have been swinging their way and they would have won."
The Mean Machine and Bears met four times in 2013, with the biggest margin between the two just 12 points, with the grand final an eight-point victory to Bridgewater at Marong.
BEST - BL-Serpentine: Brodie Leonard-Shannon, Brayden Scott, Nathan McNally. Bridgewater: Marc Lindsay, Kris Jermyn, Adam Parry.

2012 - Calivil United 9.13 (67) dr Bridgewater 10.7 (67).
This is the game that is remembered for Bridgewater's Josh Metherell's after-the-siren goal to force a draw.
Calivil United was leading by six points when Metherell marked 40m out seconds before the final siren.
With the game resting on his boot, Metherell calmly nailed the set-shot, leaving the two teams to split the points in what was an opportunity missed for the Demons, who had led by 13 points late in the game and had more scoring shots.
Metherell later in the week played down his after-the-siren heroics, telling the Bendigo Advertiser: "I wouldn't say it was a thrill... it was just one of those things you've got to do."
Bridgewater kicked the final two goals of the game through Alex Pollock and Metherell.
"We were never out of the game at any stage, but at times we didn't look like winning it either," Bridgewater co-coach Brad Wickham said.
"It was a topsy-turvy game where both sides had opportunities to take the ascendancy, but no-one did."
BEST - Calivil United: Cameron Carter, Henry Miller, Anthony Dennis. Bridgewater: Darren Clutton, David Harrison, Jack Hickey.

2011 - Bridgewater 15.17 (107) def Pyramid Hill 13.8 (86).
Not even an eight-goal lead during the third quarter was big enough for Pyramid Hill to beat Bridgewater.
The Bulldogs looked headed for a resounding victory over the reigning premiers, only to ground to a complete standstill in what became an epic comeback as the Mean Machine went from eight goals down to 21-point winners in less than two quarters.
Danny O'Bree, Zeb Broadbent and Andrew Ball instigated the Bridgewater revival in the midfield, while Brad Rohde booted eight goals.
"It was a good character-building win by the boys, but we're still a work in progress and there's plenty of areas we can still work on," Bridgewater coach Troy Auld said.
"We just kept hanging in there and eventually we were able to run over the top of them."
Pyramid Hill coach Leigh Davies had no answer for the capitulation.
"I really don't know how we did it... we just gave up," Davies lamented.
"We were down and out on our legs and they started to kick a few goals, and we just couldn't stop them."
BEST - Bridgewater: Brad Rohde, Danny O'Bree, Zeb Broadbent. Pyramid Hill: Leigh Davies, Dylan Morison, Jeremy Kennedy.
