Councillors will discuss ongoing negotiations with the state over the land adjacent to the Hanging Rock landmark.
The Department of Environment, Water and Planning has written to the council to purchase the site, the agenda for the online gathering shows.
The council will not discuss the matter during a public section of the meeting because it relates to confidential property matters.

The state government announced last year it intended to buy East Paddock from the shire.
It also announced $1.4 million over three years, for environmental safeguards, facility upgrades and recognition of the site's Aboriginal cultural significance.
The announcements were made when the state government unveiled its 2019/2020 budget.
The Macedon Ranges Shire council will meet remotely on Friday for the first time since March, after local government laws were modified.
Councillors were previously forced to meet and vote on a range of important decisions face-to-face.
The state parliament relaxed those laws last week after councils were forced to cancel meetings or risk people's health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
