Fire crews were called to the fire at a Golden Square car dealership this afternoon and found boththe cars fully ablaze.
The cars were parked next to each other in Symes Motors Bendigo's car park on High Street.
A section of the car park is now taped off and uniformed officers have been replaced by detectives, who are starting their investigations.

"We don't know if it's suspicious, or anything like that," Detective Senior Constable Russell March said.
"We are looking at how it started at the moment, but we only have some very basic information at this stage."
One outbound lane was blocked by fire trucks and police vehicles while the fire burned, but traffic was able to flow in a second lane.
DSC March encouraged anyone with information to contact the Bendigo police station on 5448 1300.
