The Cleveland Cavalier sent a special message back to all of the Bendigo Braves juniors.
"I hope everyone in staying safe and healthy during this tough time," Dellavedova said on the Bendigo Basketball Facebook page.
"Just try and stay positive, there's also ways to keep working on your game if you have a ball at home.
"You can work on your ball handling in your driveway, work on fitness and strength with some push ups and sit ups.
"More importantly, stay safe and positive. All the best."
Dellavedova himself has been refining his skills at home with basketball drills.
The 29-year-old's career started back as a junior playing with the Maryborough Blazers and the Braves before starting his college career with Saint Mary's in California.
His career highlights include winning the 2016 NBA Championship with the Cavaliers.
