New measures come into force at midnight tonight to further slow the spread of coronavirus in Victoria, chief health officer Brett Sutton said.
Religious services will be able to be livestreamed but services can only be attended by those necessary to conduct it and the recording.
Long Haul drivers will also be able to dine in dedicated sections of truck stops, as long as they keep a four square metre physical distancing rule.
Professor Sutton has also amended current stay at home directions to provide further clarity about childcare arrangements.
"To be clear, you can have another person come to your house to look after your child if you need to go out for one of the four listed reasons, or if you are working or studying at home," he said.
"You may also drop your child at another person's house to be looked after, while you are out - if it is for one of the four listed reasons."
There are only four reasons for Victorians to leave their home: food and supplies, medical care and care giving, exercise, and work or education," he said.
