Venues get the cash immediately, while Carlton and United Breweries matches that purchase with a free pint (making two pints) when restrictions are lifted. Mr Lethlean said restrictions on movement to slow the spread of COVID-19 had been life-changing. "All the hotels and bars and restaurants that aren't doing takeaways and deliveries are doing zero trade," he said. "We put all our blood sweat and tears into our businesses.
