The seven-strong team travelled to the championships held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, finishing with several medals.
Layla Day had one of her best events yet, securing a total of three medals.
Day competed in 14 races across the weekend, six of which were finals.
She secured a silver medal in the 50m backstroke, bronze in the 100m backstroke and another bronze in the 50m freestyle.
Day also swam in the B finals placing 17th in the 200m IM and 18th in the 50m Butterfly.
Rising star Cameron Jordan shined in the water with a fourth place in the men's 50m breaststroke and fifth in the 100m breaststroke.
Another of the club's talents, Emily Kearns qualified for her first Open competition, making B finals in the women's 50m backstroke to finish 16th.
Bendigo East's team of seven Kearns, Day, Jordan, Bryce Schubert, Varlee Nihill, Thomas Hawke and Lily Eldridge) helped the Orcas secure 23rd place out of 93 clubs, also the highest ranked of any other country Victorian club.
In recent months the club put on another strong performance at the 2019 Victorian Age Swimming Championships, where some of the club's members finished the tournament with medals.
The club also had success at the 2020 Victorian State Sprint Championships, where 16-year-old Day also dominated in the pool securing multiple gold medals.
