47.2 millimetres of rain fell on Friday, the most rainfall on any day since February 5, 2011.
Heavy rainfall caused localised flash flooding across Bendigo last night, including the Calder Highway from Bendigo through to Wedderburn.
VicEmergency sent out a minor flood warning on Saturday morning for the Campaspe River upstream of Lake Eppalock.
Flooding developed in response to overnight rainfall, with totals of up to 83mm recorded in the Campaspe River catchment since 9am on Friday.
The Campaspe River at Redesdale peaked near the moderate flood level of 4 metres at 2am on Saturday morning and is currently 2.56m and falling.
