With netball, like most sports, at a standstill due to the coronavirus crisis, the sports governing body has moved to assure North Central region netball officials that the issue of State Titles is still being considered.
"Like everything in netball and the community at this point in time, we are in a holding pattern and constantly reviewing the current situation," Netball Victoria competitions coordinator Jordyn Becker said.
"We are currently working on a number of scenarios that we can put in place for this competition and will come back to you soon.
"We understand not giving you a date is difficult, but things change rapidly in the current landscape we find ourselves in, so we want to be sure our plan is viable."
Netball Victoria expects to reach its decision by mid-April.
Netball Victoria announced in December that this year's titles would be hosted by Warrnambool City Netball Association at Warrnambool Stadium on the weekend of October 3 and 4.
More than 600 open grade, 17-and-under and 15-and-under players, representing the state's 19 netball regions, contest the championships each year.
