THE Country Fire Authority has issued an advice message for the fire in Burramboot.
A CFA spokesperson said the haystack fire in Wanalta-Corop Road could burn for up to five days.
There was no threat to the community, the spokesperson said, but smoke may be visible to surrounding residents.
Firefighters would continue to monitor the fire.
The message was for residents in Burramboot, Carag Carag, Colbinabbin, Colbinabbin West, Corop, Lake Cooper, Moora, Myola, Runnymede, Rushworth, Stanhope, and Wanalta.

THE Country Fire Authority has contained a hay shed fire near Rushworth.
Four crews were called to the blaze on Wanalta-Corop Road in Burramboot about 12.20am on Wednesday.
A CFA spokesperson said crews had contained the fire to the shed and were letting the hay burn itself out.
