The City of Greater Bendigo has closed its maternal and child health centres and changed the way it delivers such services, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Telephone consultations will replace visits, and first-time parent groups are on hold.
Appointments for children aged up to eight weeks will be prioritised, along with those for children with complex needs.
The City asks that parents download the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) app and save the 24-hour MCH phone number - 13 22 29.
The City of Greater Bendigo maternal and child health team can still be contact on 4408 6590.
