As the coronavirus pandemic continues, members of the Bendigo Youth Choir decided to do something positive and get a good message out to the world.
They recorded a song - Wash your Hands - during their rehearsal this week.
BYC associate director Gail Godber wrote the song nine years ago while teaching music at Spring Gully Primary School.
Gail said the Bendigo Youth Choir is happy for this song to be sung anywhere.
The message is simple - wash your hands, don't touch your face, cough into your elbow and stay way from others if you are unwell.
Gail felt this message about washing our hands was incredibly relevant in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It was a way to reinforce the hand-washing message," she said.
"This song is from our young people to young people everywhere. This young generation may indeed be the best handwashers of all time.
"The choristers learnt the song and recorded it within the space of an hour."
