ROCHESTER has cancelled bowls after a reported 70 millimetres of rain fell on the town overnight.
The Rochester Bowls Club posted pictures of a drenched green to let patrons know bowls was cancelled on Thursday.
The club's Facebook page reports it received 70 millimetres of rain.
Earlier
BENDIGO has received 42 millimetres of rain since falls began on Wednesday afternoon.
Rain fell steadily throughout the afternoon, from about 2.30pm.
The heaviest period was between 11.30pm and midnight, when 8.6 millimetres fell.

Thursday again has a high chance of showers. The rest of the week is forecast to be dry.
