Having closed out the 2000s by winning the 2009 premiership, the Bulldogs then claimed the first four flags of the 2010s.
During their decade's four premiership years of 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 the Bulldogs won 70 of 80 games and had a percentage of 187.
The most dominant of those four premiership years was their barnstorming 2011 when the Bulldogs went through the year undefeated - their average winning margin was 80 points - culminating in a 135-point shellacking of Eaglehawk in the grand final.
Their other grand final victims were South Bendigo (2010), Gisborne (2012) and Strathfieldsaye (2013).
As well as their four triumphs between 2010 and 2013, the Bulldogs also made a fifth grand final appearance during the decade, but were beaten by arch-rival Sandhurst in 2016.
Golden Square won the most senior games of any club during the decade with 153, while their reserves (132) and under-18s (140) also regularly churned out victories.
The Bulldogs had two winners of the league's Michelsen Medal, with Jack Geary (2018) and Adam Baird (2019) going back-to-back to end the decade.
Not surprisingly given he came out No.1 in the Addy's Player of the Decade rankings in December, star midfielder Geary was Golden Square's top performed player of the 2010s.
Geary earned 378 best player votes (six for being named best, five for second best and so on), with his decade accolades including four premierships, two Nalder medals, a Michelsen Medal, inter-league captain and skipper of the BFNL Team of the Decade.
Despite only playing three seasons with the Bulldogs, superboot Grant Weeks easily topped Square's goalkicking for the decade with 451, including 18 bags of 10-plus.
Weeks kicked hauls of 157 in 2010, 130 in 2011 and a league record 164 in 2012 and, along with Geary, joined Clayton Anderson, Jon Coe, vice-captain Simon Rosa and Adam Baird in the BFNL Team of the Decade.
