Presented by the Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services, Zinda Festival was launched in 2018 and will kick off this year's Cultural Diversity Week.
Last year's Zinda Festival attracted more than 6000 attendees, making it the region's biggest multicultural event.
Multicultural services executive officer Kate McInnes said the response to last year's festival was mind blowing.
"It wasn't just the number of people who attended, but the positive feedback, both from those who have called Bendigo their home all their lives and those who arrived in Australia as migrants or refugees.
"This year we will be building on that success to create an even bigger and better experience," Ms McInnes said.
The word 'zinda' means alive and lively in six different languages - Dari, Bengali, Farsi, Hindi, Hazaraghi and Urdu.
The festival will feature a multicultural concert.
Local and Melbourne-based musicians will perform, alongside a multicultural food market, craft and cultural stalls and children's activities.
Performers include Navid Farough, Jali Buba, The African Gospel Band, and Mariachi Los Romanticos.
Cultural dances from the South Sudanese, Karen Buddhist, Malayalam and Filipino communities and the Bendigo Ghida Group and Karen Buddhist Community will be sure to have revelers up on their feet.
International flavours from Turkey, Ethiopia, India, Mexico and afar will be available.
Community food stalls from the South Sudanese, Karen, Malayalam and Hazara communities will also be selling traditional food.
Limited seating is available and patrons are encouraged to bring their own seat or picnic rug.
Zinda Festival takes place on Saturday, 14 March at Rosalind Park, from 4pm until 9pm.
The event is free, cash only and BYO.
