The Dragons and Roos went into the final round needing a win to put the pressure on fourth-placed White Hills.
However, Sandhurst was bowled out for 94 by Bendigo United and the Redbacks are 0-39 in reply.
Kangaroo Flat will chase 165 for victory against Bendigo United Redbacks.
The Roos also need to make up a considerable amount of percentage to have any chance of knocking the Demons out of fourth spot.
White Hills was bowled out for 132 by Strathfieldsaye, with the Jets 1-12 in reply.
In the other under-16A game at the weekend, Strathdale-Maristians posted 7-309 against Bendigo at Ken Wust Oval, thanks largely to half-centuries from Callum Thompson (65 not out) and Brodie Reaper (53).
Meanwhile, the top four is set in the under-12A division with one round to play.
Bendigo United, Maiden Gully, Strathdale-Maristians Suns and Eaglehawk will play in the finals series, which starts on March 15.
