New coach Cherie O'Neill will be in charge for the first time as the Pioneers host the Western Jets at 12.50pm.
The match is a curtain-raiser to the Richmond and Geelong AFLW game.
Of the 23 players selected to play in the Pioneers' round one team, 17 were on the list last year.
Echuca's Deliilah Crighton, Gol Gol's Nunia Mafi, Woorinen's Natasha Kelly, Strathfieldsaye's Billie Reidy and Sandhurst duo Arkie Donnelly and Scarlett Orritt are new players to the under-18 squad this year.
