The bulk billed deputising service had previously been open until 11pm, seven days a week.
A spokesperson said changing regulation meant recruiting general practitioners for the service was increasingly difficult.

Bendigo health professions have warned of a GP shortage in the city since June 2019.

National Home Doctor Service withdrew from Bendigo in March 2019, citing cuts to the Medicare rebate for doctors who saw patients at home.
A Sandhurst parent-company spokesperson said the medical deputising service didn't provide continuity of care, like the day centre.
The spokesperson said the company had therefore decided to close the service.
But the company had welcomed new GPs to Sandhurst medical Clinic, allowing it to extend its operating hours, the spokesperson said.
