SCOTS DAY OUT
Celebrate all things Scottish right in the centre of Bendigo this weekend.
The annual Scots Day Out will feature various pipe bands in a parade, Highland dancers, numerous clans, haggis tastings, whisky, shortbread, folk music and much more.
This event attracts about 5000 people every year and is suitable for all ages.

WEDDING EXPO
Are you planning your wedding? Or perhaps you're just dreaming of your big day and want to see what's on offer.
Join in for Bendigo's Wedding Expo.
This expo will include more than 50 of the best vendors on display for all wedding day requirements.
There will be something for everyone from decorations to clothing, caterers to transport.
This event is not to be missed.

DOLL AND TEDDY SHOW
The 29th annual Bendigo Doll and Teddy Show is on again, featuring dolls and bears of all shapes and sizes, for all ages.
The show will include handmade bears, resin dolls, reborn dolls, fantasy dolls, dollhouse furniture, accessories and other craft items.
There will be competitions, exhibition displays, various traders and much more.
Entry tickets available at the door, adult $6, concession $5, and children six and under have free entry.
All door proceeds are donated to Bendigo Palliative Care Auxiliary.

BENDIGO INTERNATIONAL MADISON
The Bendigo International Madison committee is excited to bring another entertaining event to Bendigo.
The Bendigo International Madison attracts world class athletes, participating in a cycling race of 200 laps of the Tom Flood Sports Centre.

FUNDRAISERS
BLUES AND ROOTS FUNDRAISER
The 10th annual Bendigo Blues and Roots Summer Showcase fundraiser will take place across two stages at the weekend.
The packed list of acts will keep music fans dancing all night long.
The fundraising event will feature acts from genres such as blues, soul, jazz, folk and much more.
The event helps pay for the Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival, which will take place November 5 to 8.
Tickets to the fundraiser will be on sale at the door, adults $20, under 18s $5 and under 12s free.

BUSHFIRE RELIEF FUNDRAISER FILM
Join in with the Star Cinema for a fundraiser screening of the film Emma.
Emma is a drama comedy based on Jane Austen's book, Emma. The film is rated PG and runs for 125 minutes.
This event's proceeds will all go to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.
Tickets are $25, includes delicious food prepared by community cooks, The Moonlighters.
Raffle tickets are also available for buy on the night.

ARTHRITIS CLUB
The Bendigo Arthritis Club will meet next week and feature special guest speaker, Catherine Holmes.
Catherine Holmes will be speaking about the Gianna Centre.
A warm welcome is extended to all.
The club also conducts warm water exercises that are held at John Lindell and Scope pools.

CERAMICS GALLERY
Bendigo Pottery's Centre for Learning and Design Gallery is a space dedicated to the exhibition and sale of contemporary ceramics.
CLAD Gallery aims to showcase the work of ceramic artists with a program of exhibitions, workshops, floor talks and masterclasses.
Three internationally acclaimed ceramic artists, living and working in central Victoria, show refined technique in their cermaics at this exhibition.
Artists are, Garry Bish, Su Hanna and Prue Venables.

THE PAUL GUEST COLLECTION
Former Olympic rower and family court Judge, Paul Guest, has gifted his $2 million collection of artwork to a local gallery.
Featuring more than 200 works, Mr Guest's collection of modern and contemporary Australian paintings and sculptures and focuses on abstraction and conceptualism.
The decision to gift his collection to the Bendigo Art Gallery came from his love of the gallery.
The collection started in the late 1960s after Paul Guest met artist Andrew Sibley.

STILL SCAPES
International photographer, Mike Rutherford, will exhibit more than 30 images portraying the local area in ways that move beyond usual tourist images into something darker.
Still Scapes is a free photographic exhibition that tackles everything from climate change to the erosion of rural life.
Mike Rutherford's images are from the local region and recent trips to remote India.
Mike is a former advertising photographer who has lived in Trentham for about 15 years.
Last year, Mike travelled to India twice for photography and many of those images are featured in the exhibition.
Mike will be exhibiting his works in Dehli and Mumbai in the coming years.

JOSH MUIR: WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND?
Experience augmented reality at the Josh Muir: What's on your mind? exhibition.
The exhibition features works with hidden meanings behind them, which is accessible through the use of an iPad.

WONDERLAND
This exhibition will appeal to both adults and children, showcasing a playful atmosphere in a gallery space, with works from local artists.
The exhibition features Bendigo LEGO User Group's iconic landmarks from our region, jewellery, textile animals, needle felting, ceramics, pop art paintings and much more.

PLAN AHEAD
LOST TRADES FAIR
The Lost Trades Fair was originally established as an event that would host artisans and tradespeople to showcase their work.
Now, the fair celebrates these talents with about 150 makers, crafters, artisans and tradespeople openly sharing their skills and craftsmanship.
The fair is in Bendigo this year to allow for more attendees at visit. Last year's fair in Kyneton was attended by about 22,000 people.

CRAFT BEER AND CIDER FESTIVAL
Have fun in the sun sampling about 100 beers and ciders from various breweries and cideries.
This annual event boasts the country's best brewers and live entertainment.
Reserve a seat in the VIP tent and enjoy many luxuries on the day.
There are more than 100 unique beverages to tempt you alongside food trucks, live music, plenty of fun and festival games.

STANHOPE SHOW AND SHINE
This family-friendly meet will feature cars, bikes, trucks and utes for a fun, show and shine event.
There will be children's entertainment, DJ Majik and a breakfast from 8am.
Entry by gold coin donation, gates open 7am, registrations close at 10am.

ZINDA FESTIVAL
Zinda festival is all about celebrating all things multicultural in the heart of Bendigo.
Zinda celebrates the region's growing diversity and means "alive" and "lively" in Dari, Bengali, Farsi, Hindi, Hazaraghi and Urdu.
Zinda Festival will kick off Cultural Diversity Week in Bendigo and will feature activities for children, great food, live music and much more.

GIGGLE AND HOOT
Giggle and Hoot Live in Concert, will return to stages with a national tour this March and April.
Jimmy Giggle (played by Jimmy Rees) and his Owl Pals Hoot and Hootabelle are thrilled to be bringing their live show, taking themselves on the road to share joy with pre-schoolers everywhere.
Set off on a pirate adventure to find Mini Hoot and witness the self-proclaimed 'World's Greatest Magician' - Magician Jimmy Giggle-ini.
The show will also feature the Giggle Galaxy and plenty of good times along the way.
