Police are appealing for the public's help in finding a man who was last seen swimming after escaping a ute that had crashed into a creek.

Leitchville man Michael Allitt, 49, was last seen about 4am on Saturday, February 22 at a Gunbower property on Gunbower-Pyramid Road.
Mr Allitt was driving a ute when he lost control and drove into Mount Hope Creek.
Police have been told that Mr Allitt got out of the vehicle.
He was last seen swimming in an unknown direction.
Police Search and Rescue, Airwing and SES volunteers continue to search the area on Monday.
Mr Allitt is described as 186 centimetres tall, with a solid build, brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, grey Adidas track pants and Blundstone boots.
Anyone who sees Mr Allitt is urged to contact Echuca Police Station on 5483 1500.
