Inkerman Street will be closed between High and Napier streets from 6am to 8am as police conduct further investigations into the January 31 collision.
About 6am that day, a 77-year-old man, who was using a walker, was crossing Inkerman Street at a roundabout when he was struck by a black Peugeot hatchback.
The pedestrian, a Maryborough resident, was taken to hospital but died later that evening.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene, and has helped police with their enquiries.
Access to the Shell petrol station will still be available on Tuesday via Clarendon Street while police are on scene.
