Darren Cole has been Martin's swing coach for more than a decade.
After a handful of strong finishes on the Asia Tour during the past two seasons and at an array of pro-am events, Cole believes Martin has made significant progress.
"I've been talking to Andrew about moving his game forward and thinking bigger in terms of what tour he wants to be on," he said.
There are hundreds of elements to a golf swing, but for the pair the focus has been on the pivot element.
"Our focus has been to make sure the motion is balanced at initial setup which ensures the turn is as easy possible to give his arms and body the chance to work together in sync," Cole said.
"He is then able to deliver the club to the ball more consistently which leads to a consistent ball flight which is what golf is all about."
Martin was more than pleased with the consistency of his swing.
"All in all both myself and my coach (Cole) are happy with how it's all going which is very positive and has led to a solid and consistent swing," Martin said.
Martin is entered for the final stage of Asia Tour Qualifying School in Thailand this week.
