Nearly $1million a year for rent for the next 40 years.
The whole thing is ridiculous.
Luckily the ratepayers can manage their own property/money and are not relying on council.
No-one would own anything.

Duck season - no more please
Shooting ducks is a cruel and outdated nasty practice.
Birds are seeking refuge and rest.
Hasn't there been enough death and destruction- I believe most Australians are sick of the ongoing maiming and deaths of defenceless innocent wildlife.
There are those who will whinge and fuss, believing it's their God given right - it's not.
No one has that right.
I believe, allowing another 'season' of kill, is going to affect all like me.
There are many who feel they are at the end of their intake, of any more dark and avoidable death.
For every human who feels like killing there are three who can't stand any more.
Please say no more.

Train pain
It now comes to light in The Age and Bendigo Advertiser that the Airport Link being put above ground will further create and increase congestion on the Bendigo line further frustrating and disrupting regional V/line passengers.
You only have to look at how passengers on the 5:42 am from Bendigo to Southern Cross are continually treated to realise regional passengers are not a priority for the state government, unless you a passenger on the Geelong and Ballarat lines.
