ARNOLD opener Matt Giri's run-spree in the Upper Loddon Cricket Association continued on Saturday as he belted his fourth ton in six innings.
Giri's latest century came against Newbridge as he cracked 129 in the Redbacks' tally of 9-240 off their 35 overs.
Giri's past six trips to the crease have yielded scores of 129, 59, 113, 21, 138 and 112 - a total of 572 runs at an average of 95.3.
Giri's dismissal was one of five wickets for Newbridge's Tas Fitzallen, who bagged 5-39 off seven overs.
Newbridge was held to 8-142 in reply, with the result moving reigning premier Arnold to the top of the ladder, while Newbridge slips to second.
* Boort-Yando fell agonisingly short of winning its first game of the season.
Boort-Yando compiled 117 batting first led by 40 from Will Perryman, but was denied victory by the barest of margins as Wedderburn answered with 118.
The key knock in Wedderburn's thrilling run-chase was 35 from skipper Luke Holt.
* In other games, Kingower (5-114) beat Inglewood (8-97) and Bridgewater (6-144) defeated Serpentine (102).
