Police have arrested and charged a man over a series of robberies at a bank and petrol stations in Bendigo and Rochester.

Michael Blow, of no fixed address, made a brief appearance in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Wednesday afternoon via video link from Echuca.
Mr Blow, 24, is facing three charges of robbery and one charge of possessing a drug of dependence.
Charge sheets obtained from the court show he is accused of stealing $200 during a robbery from a Bendigo Caltex petrol station, robbing another Caltex petrol station in Rochester of $300, and taking $200 in a robbery from the Bendigo Bank at Rochester.

The alleged robbery in Bendigo occurred on Monday, February 3, while the two alleged offences in Rochester were on Tuesday, February 4.
Police allege threats were made against staff in the two Rochester robberies.
Mr Blow was also allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine.
Defence lawyer Marcus Williams told the court Mr Blow had "significant mental health issues" and was withdrawing from methamphetamine.
No application for bail was made.
Mr Blow was remanded in custody to appear at Echuca Magistrates' Court via video link on March 3.
