BENDIGO had to settle for third in the weekend's Provincial Championships at South Bendigo Bowling Club.
Taking on Ballarat, Wimmera and Geelong in the annual event, Bendigo finished with a win, a loss and a tie from its three games.
Bendigo's six rinks were skippered by Brad Holland, Brad Marron, Lee Schraner, Darren Burgess, Aaron Tomkins and David Keenan.
Keenan's was the best performed of the Bendigo rinks, winning all three of its games by margins of eight, three and three shots.
Geelong won all three of its games to come out on top.
