Punters lost $51,218,482 across 11 Greater Bendigo venues in 2019 according to statistics from the Victorian Commission for Liquor and Gambling Regulation.
That's the equivalent of every Bendigo resident losing $441 dollars.
The losses are $1,213,378 higher than during 2018, when Bendigo gamblers lost $50,005,104.
This represents a 2.5 per cent increase.
Losses in 2018 showed the biggest annual increase in across Victoria for more than 10 years. Bendigo's losses jumped by $1.8 million.
About 20 per cent of gambling losses in Greater Bendigo were at the All Seasons International Hotel.
Punters put $11,510,673 into 99-100 pokies at the All Seasons in 2019.
The Bendigo District RSL took in $8,587,250 over 93 poker machines.
The All Seasons and Bendigo District RSL were approached for comment.
