Brayden Stepien returned to the top of the order for Wednesday morning's game against Queensland, but fell first ball of the match.
James Seymour batted at three and made 26, while Xavier Crone added 18 in a team total of 6-141.
Queensland won by eight wickets. Sam Elliott (1-24), Crone (0-18) and Seymour (0-5) had a bowl.
In the afternoon, NSW Metro belted 3-194. Seymour took 2-30 with Crone (0-30) taking two catches off Seymour's bowling.
Victoria was 5-15 before Elliott (23), Stepien (14), Seymour (8) and Crone (15) batted from six to nine. Victoria was dismissed for 86.
Victoria's final game is on Thursday morning against Tasmania.
