HUNTLY-North Epsom has ticked off the first leg in its shot at three BDCA premierships this season.
The Power beat Kangaroo Flat by 38 runs in Wednesday night's Twenty20 grand final at the QEO.
As well as winning the T20 flag, the Power have also qualified for the Keck-Findlay Shield one-day final against Strathdale-Maristians at a date to be confirmed, while they sit second on the ladder in the season-proper to be very much in contention for back-to-back flags.
After winning the toss and batting the Power went from 3-80 at the halfway mark of their innings to all out for 149, leaving three balls left unused.
Gun all-rounder Adam Ward top-scored for the Power, making 35 off 27 after beginning his innings in the ninth over with Huntly-North Epsom 3-65.
Ward hit three off-side boundaries, as well as a six over mid-wicket off a Dylan Gibson (0-25) full toss.
With Ward at the wicket the Power looked like setting a target of at least 160 before he was bowled by Brent Hamblin in the 18th over, leaving the Power 6-134.
Ward was one of four Power batsmen bowled by Hamblin, who also rattled the stumps of Lewis Stabler (12), Matt Culvenor (12) and Elliott Massina (3).
Having taken just one wicket in the Roos' three Twenty20 matches in the lead-up, Hamblin finished with 4-19 off 3.3 overs.
The move by Josh Collinson to bowl three overs of medium-pace paid dividends, with the Roos' captain taking three wickets.
Collinson only had three previous Twenty20 wickets in his career, but bagged 3-22, including the scalp of Sandun Ranathunga (27), who he bowled with his first delivery.
The Roos - now 0-4 in T20 grand finals - were bowled out in the 19th over for 111.
Ward capped a man-of-the-match game for the Power by picking up 3-24 off four overs, while the economical Brett Elvey (2-14) struck early in removing openers Matthew Underwood (15) and Ben Birkhead (14).
Chris Barber (18) was the Roos' top-scorer.
With two grand final victories (they also won in 2014), the Power join Strathdale-Maristians (five) as the only clubs with multiple T20 premierships.
