The 2020 Evolution Pro-Am will see a top quality field with current and former tour players in the mix.
Neangar Park GC president Phil DeAraugo said the club had worked hard to prepare for the tournament.
"We've worked closely with Axedale GC to make it a big week of golf in Bendigo," DeAraugo said.
"At Neangar, we're comfortable with hosting the pro-am and we can run a good event.
"We've got a solid field in place, with lots of good amateurs that want to play alongside the professionals."
The Neangar Park tournament follows the Symes Motors BMW Axedale Pro-Am held on Thursday.
Among the professional field set for Neangar is reigning champion Ryan Lynch, former winner and local product Andrew Martin, Kris Mueck and Matthew Millar.
"Overall we have a quality field and part of it is we have a relationship with Axedale to bring some of the best players to both pro-ams," DeAraugo said.
"A lot of these guys are all playing in the Vic Open so these pro-ams are part of a tune up for them.
"With them wanting to play shows the courses are in good condition and they want to come play here as Neangar and Axedale put on great events."
DeAraugo said the course was at its prime ahead of Friday.
"The course is in great condition and the greens are rolling beautifully," he said.
"The rain over the past week or two was desperately needed and the course is setup for scoring. We're expecting some low scores on Friday."
One key element to the success of the tournament is support from sponsors.
Evolution Copy Print Solutions director Mark Roberts said the tournament showcased golf within the region.
"We have been a sponsor since the pro-am's inception and we're more than happy to be on board," Roberts said.
"It helps put Neangar on the map and more widely all sporting events in Bendigo.
"It's also important to showcase what great golf courses we have in regional Victoria."
