POWER has been restored to about 2800 customers around Bendigo, a Powercor spokeswoman says.
A fault in the Eaglehawk area caused the power outage just after 11am on Tuesday.
Power was restored within 30 minutes, the spokeswoman said, but Powercor was continuing to investigate the cause.
"We thank customers for their patience as our crews and control room worked to restore power safely and quickly," the spokeswoman said.
More than 2800 properties across Bendigo and central Victoria are without power, due to a number of faults.
Powercor reports that 2809 properties in areas including Huntly, Bagshot, North Bendigo, Epsom, White Hills and others are affected.
There are faults at Huntly North, Newbridge and Marong, with estimated restoration times of 2pm in the first two instances and 3.30pm at Marong.
The cause of the faults are under investigation.
