A woman injured in a crash at Newbridge sustained upper body injuries.
Ambulance Victoria said the woman was taken to Bendigo Health in a stable condition.
Paramedics attended the scene just before 11am.
Police said the woman's injuries were minor.
12.10pm
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after her car crashed into a truck on the Wimmera Highway at Newbridge.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 60s, was driving her four-wheel drive south on Bridgewater-Maldon Road when she failed to give way at the Wimmera Highway intersection and hit the truck travelling north-east on the highway.
The 55-year-old driver of the truck was uninjured.
Inglewood Sergeant Sean Dickson said the crash happened in a 100km/h zone and that it was a notorious intersection.
He said the most recent crash happened on Saturday.
Road diversion will remain in place while police wait for a heavy haulage vehicle to come and remove the truck.
The driver of the four-wheel drive will receive a penalty notice for failing to give way.
EARLIER
A CAR and a truck have collided on the Wimmera Highway near Newbridge.
The CFA are completing a washaway of the scene and traffic is being diverted as CFA and police work at the scene.
Traffic on the Wimmera HIghway is being diverted to the Bridgewater-Maldon Road to avoid the crash.
An ambulance was also on scene, but has since left.
The vehicles involved are silver four-wheel drive and a truck.
