The under-17s are undefeated after two rounds of Twenty20 matches, while the under-13A squad has impressed in its first two one-day matches.
The under-16, under-15, two under-14 and one under-13B teams need to win on Wednesday to have any chance of forcing their way into grand finals.
The under-17s scored two wins over Goulburn Murray at Canterbury Park on Tuesday. In the morning match, Matt Wilkinson (42 not out) and Angus Chisholm (42 not out) set up the BDCA's total of 2-120. Goulburn Murray responded with 9-89, with five of the six BDCA bowlers used taking wickets. Darcy Hunter (2-10) had the best figures.
The afternoon match was tighter. Goulburn Murray batted first and made 6-96. Jasper Langley (2-15) was the most successful bowler. The BDCA overcame a collapse of 6-32 to win by four wickets with 13 balls to spare. Langley (34) and Campbell Smith (22) were best with the bat.
The under-16s suffered a three-wicket loss to Shepparton at Numurkah.
The BDCA posted 9-151 off its 50 overs, with James Barri (41), Max McMurray (21) and Aidan Clemens (21) top-scoring.
Shepparton reeled in the score for the loss of seven wickets with an over to spare. Reilley Porter (1-9) was the BDCA's best bowler.
The under-15s were beaten by Goulburn Murray. Sam Lowes top-scored with 65 in the BDCA's total of 172. The home side passed the total for the loss of six wickets. Jack Smith (2-29) was the only multiple wicket-taker.
Upper Loddon is on top of the under-15 table. After making 81 on Monday, Upper Loddon skipper Harry McKinley smashed an unbeaten 129 off 89 balls in his side's total of 3-317 against Seymour.
Matt Rowe (58), Will Perryman (56) and Issac Holt (46 not out) all batted well. Seymour was bowled out for 88. Lance Malone took 3-11 for Upper Loddon.
The two BDCA under-14 teams lost on Tuesday.
BDCA1 suffered a 16-run loss to Shepparton at Murchison. Shepparton made 7-133, with Jack Wilson taking 3-17. Wilson completed a fine game by making 37 in the BDCA's reply of 8-117.
Max Cahoon (4-13 and 15) was best for BDCA 2 (9-105) against Shepparton 2 (127).
The BDCA under-13A squad (7-150) defeated Goulburn Murray (8-81) by 69 runs. Gus Hay (38 not out) and Harvey White (36) were best for the BDCA.
In under-13B, Shepparton (9-132) proved too strong for the BDCA (66). Archie Stevens (3-8) and Oscar Cail (18) were best for the BDCA.
