Sedgwick, who has the bye in round four, has a mortgage on top spot in pool 1 with Emu Creek, Maiden Gully Marist and Marong in the hunt for the remaining semi-final berth.
In pool two, three teams - West Bendigo, Spring Gully and United - are battling for two semi-final berths.
Tuesday night's fixtures (home teams listed first, all games start at 5.30pm):
Pool 1 - Mandurang v Maiden Gully Marist, Marong v Emu Creek. Spring Gully bye.
Pool 2 - United v Spring Gully, Axe Creek v California Gully. West Bendigo bye.
Ladders after three rounds:
Pool 1 - Sedgwick 45.31, Emu Creek 19.07, Maiden Gully Marist 17.06, Marong 16.84, Mandurang 4.82.
Pool 2 - West Bendigo 32.30, Spring Gully 30.98, California Gully 19.24, United 18.59, Axe Creek 2.60.
The final round will be played on January 14, with the semis on January 28 and final on February 4.
