BOORT will be thrown straight into the deep end in the North Central league in 2020, with this year's wooden-spooners opening its season against reigning premier Sea Lake Nandaly.
The North Central league has this week released its 2020 fixture and will be the last of the AFL Central Victoria leagues to kick off.
The 2020 season will get under way on Saturday, April 18, and will be immediately followed by an Anzac Day general bye the next weekend.
As well as Boort taking on Sea Lake Nandaly, round one will also include Charlton v Wycheproof-Narraport; St Arnaud v Birchip-Watchem; and Donald v Wedderburn.
There will be no inter-league game for the North Central league, while a second general bye is fixtured on the Queen's Birthday long weekend.
The grand final will be played on September 12.

Birchip-Watchem - St Arnaud and Wedderburn.
Boort - Sea Lake Nandaly and Wycheproof-Narraport.
Charlton - Wycheproof-Narraport and St Arnaud.
