PYRAMID Hill has a new A-grade netball coach, but she is by no means new to the Bulldogs.
Dual A-grade premiership star Zoe Kennedy has returned to Pyramid Hill after spending the 2019 season with Bendigo league club Strathfieldsaye.
Kennedy previously coached the Loddon Valley league Bulldogs in 2018, leading them to a sixth-place finish, missing a final berth by a solitary win.
In a further boost to their playing stocks, the Bulldogs have regained dual premiership defender Abbey Dingwall, who rejoins the club after a stint with Goulburn Valley league side Rochester.
Dingwall will coach the Bulldogs' B-grade team.
Kennedy, who was best on court in the Bulldogs' 2017 premiership triumph against Mitiamo and also played in the 2015 grand final win against Calivil United, said she was excited to be back at her home club.
"It's an easy place to be at and it's home .... mum and dad are obviously there and lots of friends," she said.
"Hopefully we can have success."
The Bulldogs will be aiming to bounce back in 2020 after going through last season without a win.
Kennedy believes she is returning to Pyramid Hill a better and certainly more experienced coach following her one season at the helm and with a year of BFNL experience under her belt as coach of the Storm's A-reserve line-up.
"The last time at Pyramid Hill I was a first-time coach and learned a lot," she said.
"I think I'll be a lot better prepared coming into it the second time around.
"We were a bit unlucky last time (in 2018), we lost a few games we shouldn't have, and I'm sure after struggling last year, we will be keen to get a few wins on the board early.
"There's no doubt we'd love to be back playing finals."
The Bulldogs are yet to hold tryouts, but Kennedy expected some of last season's A-grade list to remain with the club.
"Having Abbey Dingwall back at the club is obviously a big in for us," she said.
In other Bulldogs coaching appointments, Jessica Zimmer will take charge of the C-grade and C-reserve; Lauren Driscoll will coach the 17-and-unders; 2017 A-grade premiership coach Deb Forster will lead the 15-and-unders; and Olivia Hampson will oversee the minis.
A 13-and-under coach is yet to be announced.
Pyramid Hill opens its 2020 season at home against Inglewood on April 4.
