A community advice alert has been issued following a haystack fire southwest of Boort.
There is no immediate threat to the community from the fire on Flowering Gums Road, but haystack fires do generate a lot of smoke.
The fire is being monitored by firefighters and could continue to burn for two days.
The advice has been issued for people in Boort, Boort East, Mysia and Yando.
