
It's the most wonderful time of the year.
The summer of golf is upon us, starting with the Australian Open which tees off on Thursday.
Among the field are Bendigo golfers Andrew Martin and Lucas Herbert, both who have returned from international competitions.

The tournament is being held at one of the country's oldest courses, the par 72 Australian Golf Club in Sydney.
Some of the sport's greatest names have won Opens on the course, Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus and Jordan Spieth just to name a few.
The tournament's current champion is Mexican Abraham Ancer who won at the Lakes Golf Club in 2018 and is back in Australia to defend his crown.
The competition is broadcast free-to-air each day from 12pm onward on Prime 7.

Two Neangar Park GC products in Martin and Herbert will be vying to add their name to the winner's list.
Martin tees off at 7.30am AEDT alongside Cory Crawford (QLD) and Michael Wright (QLD).
Herbert tees off at 11.30am AEDT alongside David Micheluzzi (VIC) and Ryan Fox (NZ).
