
Todd Murphy helped spin Victoria Country to victory on day two of the National Under-19 Cricket Championships in Perth.
The Sandhurst premiership off-spinner took 3-36 off 10 overs as ACT/NSW Country fell 20 runs short of Victoria Country's total of 6-268 off 50 overs.
Murphy batted late in Victoria Country's innings and made six.
Murphy's St Kilda team-mate in Premier Cricket, Patrick Rowe, made an unbeaten 135 off 135 balls for Victoria Country. Rowe hit eight fours and three sixes.
After opening the tournament with two wins, Victoria Country will enjoy a day off on Wednesday before facing the Cricket Australia XI in round three on Thursday.
Victoria Country, Victoria Metro and NSW Metro are the only three undefeated teams after two rounds.
Victoria Country is in Pool A - the same pool as NSW Metro, Queensland, Cricket Australia XI and South Australia.
